Saturday, April 25, 1998 at St. Paul’s Community Care Center:
PACEM sponsored a workshop on vocal production.  Members of the Cathedral’s St. Cecilia Choir and Choristers responded enthusiastically to the faculty, opera singers David Downing (bass-baritone) and Beau Palmer (tenor).

May, 1998:
Major sponsorship of the Cathedral’s production of Handel’s Alexander’s Feast.

November, 1998:
Stephen Sturk appointed PACEM’s Executive Director
Marj Osgood appointed PACEM’s Treasurer

November, 1998:
PACEM library established. This library will be a source for lending sheet music, scores, books on music, tapes, videos, CD’s, CD-ROM’s and instruments. Currently, the library has over 700 sets of scores, thanks in part to a gift from the City Library. In addition to lending, facilities will be available for listening to tapes, CD’s, and DVD’s, as well as watching videos and playing educational CD-ROM’s.
