Our Mission: To Preserve and Advance Sacred Music
The Pacific Academy of Ecclesiastical Music (PACEM) offers diverse opportunities
for church music and musicians. PACEM is an ecumenical center where
organists, choral and orchestral directors, choirs, instrumentalists,
vocal soloists, clergy, congregations and composers can learn and
share a medium that knows no barriers and speaks to every soul –
church music. The academy is open to music lovers, musicians and
students of every discipline, amateur and professional alike, including
children, youth and adults of all faith groups. Functioning as a
resource for the community at large, PACEM’s educational programs
are directed at individuals and at groups, both small and large.
Necessary financial support may be provided to students, both through
grants or subsidies. Students and workshop participants perform
for the public.
