Education

Sight Singing classes, workshops, lectures, the Summer Sings, our libraries - These are all ways PACEM reaches out to the community with educational opportunities. In addition to the activities listed here, PACEM also supports the First Notes program and is actively working with the Instituto de Cultura de Baja California. Both of these programs work with young children in underserved communities.

Sight Singing classes are scheduled throughout the year. Please see the sight singing page for information on how to register.

Workshops and lectures are presented from time to time to by distinguised facilitators such as Artistic Director Martin Neary and Stan Wicks of First United Methodist Church, San Diego. Nationally acclaimed composer and conductor Stephen Sturk has led workshops for musicians such as a composer's workshop.

Check this site regularly for upcoming workshops and other educational opportunities.
